How about your grandmother’s love for hanging decorative plates on the walls of her living room?

Probably you don’t like the idea, but just because you have not seen the wonderful products of Ziameim yet!

Sara Giordano, architect and designer, creator of the project, chooses the dishes one by one in vintage markets and then decorates them with fantastic elements: animals and characters come alive on these plates, inserted in surrealist-inspired scenes, which are for me irresistible.

During the day Sara has technical job, but her spare time is entirely devoted to the expression of her artistic thoughts.

The idea of the plate raises in my thought and after I look for images that can express it.

Double plates are my favorites: I like the dialogue between the two elements, I think Sara is really good at creating the perfect balance inside the asymmetry she uses in composing the images. It’s clear that the work of composition is the result of many thoughts, tests and combinations attempts, until the definition of the perfect intuition.

Sara lives in Bellaria, where she grew up, but she lives expecially in her amazing imaginary world.

Immerse yourself in Ziameim atmosphere and her complex thoughts: the dishes are unique pieces that tell stories I’m sure will fascinate you too.

Sara mainly uses Instagram to present her plates: follow her to find out the latest news and contact her to buy them!Z

Last hours of work in the first house that hosted us in Barcelona and which was an excellent remote working place.
The living room transformed into an office from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18.

In a few days we will move to a new apartment, here in Barcelona.
So last weekend I took some photos of the living room of the (almost) former house. The shot I like the most is this one, because it tells a lot about us.
📚 The library full of souvenirs, travel books and comics. Colors and memories (I will never understand those eho turn the books to uniform the view).
🛋 The sofa bed that should have hosted so many friends during last year and instead was experienced only by the most courageous and trusted @videogirlai.
🍹 The @modobarcelona side table that accompanied all our home aperitifs and that fits perfectly to the @ikeaspain sofa.
